I think that I am thinking too much, but....
I thought that Latin was from Europe.  So why do we call South and Central America, Latin America/  And if we say Latinos, does that also refer to the people living near the Mediterranian, such as Greece, Spain, and Italy?

I havent been to Spain or Europe for that matter, so Ill make an uneducated point and pick Latin America.

To me, Spain would be just too much like any other civilized country ahem.  Boring.

Latin America is for the adventurous.  If you cant get away from TV, your lattes, and all the trappings of life that make Westerners some of the fattest people on earth, then, no, Latin America is not for you.
